2019年3月21日上午，应石嘉副教授邀请，张磊老师在新科技楼1012会议室进行了区块链相关技术的专题讲座，并与同学们进行了深入交流。

张磊老师首先对英国格拉斯哥大学进行了介绍，随后从自己的科研经历为出发，对区块链相关技术进行了由浅入深的讲解，对于同学们目前遇到的科研难点，进行了系统性的指导，并对同学们提出的相关问题进行了耐心的解答。

报告内容摘要：

Security is a persistent issue in centralized systems. In addition, the high management cost and resource overhead (e.g., communication with the cloud or paperwork) in the centralized systems pose a bottleneck on the prosperous of Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystems. Blockchain provides a perfect solution to solve all the above-mentioned security and overhead issues lies in the centralized systems. Originally proposed as the backbone technology of Bitcoin digital currency, blockchain has become a revolutionary decentralized data management framework that will transform the way in which we share information.

This talk will start from introducing the basic of blockchain technologies, including the widely used proof based (such as PoW and PoS) and voting based systems (such as PBFT and RAFT). Wireless communication systems will be proposed as an enabler of blockchain system, which will bring significant challenges and opportunities from both blockchain and wireless communications perspectives in terms of performance analysis, system design and deployment, etc.

人物简介：

张磊老师于西北工业大学获得学士和硕士学位，并于英国谢菲尔德大学获得博士学位。曾在华为通信技术实验室（CT Lab）担任研究员。目前张磊老师任职于英国格拉斯哥大学，同时在英国萨里大学5GIC研究中心担任访问研究员。

张磊老师在3G / 4G / 5G无线通信方面拥有超过10年的研究经验。他曾广泛参与欧盟项目，EPSRC项目，5GIC项目，行业协作研究项目，中国国家科技重大项目，并为3GPP RAN1标准化做出了贡献。他在无线通信系统和应用方面拥有16项发明专利。曾发表了30多篇期刊论文40多篇会议论文和8本书编辑/章节。

张磊老师主要从事于通信和阵列信号处理的研究工作，最近的研究集中于5G的物理层和MAC层的通信系统。主要包括无线区块链网络、无线接入网切片(RAN切片)、新型空中接口设计(波形、框架结构等)、V2X通信、物联网、多天线信号处理、云无线接入网、大规模MIMO系统等研究领域。同时张磊讲师也是IEEE的高级成员，并在IEEE担任副编辑。
