Fourth National First-level Discipline Evaluation

According to the result of the Fourth National First-level Discipline Evaluation released by the Academic Degree and Graduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, 11 out of the 15 candidate disciplines of Xidian University were selected, as shown in the following table.

In comparison，there are a total of 23 candidate disciplines of Xidian in the Fifth National Discipline Evaluation, with 10 new candidates added and 2 disciplines removed.

"Double World-class Project” Disciplines

A total of 147 universities were on the second list of universities and disciplines included in the "double world-class project” released by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission. Included in the list are two disciplines of Xidian University, namely Information and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Technology, both of which were also on the first list of disciplines included in the "double world-class project”.
